Week 7 Part A Alternative Assignement
Right now I have social media across the spectrum. The only 3 I am focusing on right now are Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube though.

The top performing (growing) one so far is Twitter by far. I was growing pretty quickly with IG before, but really stopped using it a couple of years ago.
I am actually currently in a mastermind for growing on Twitter with some pretty heavy hitters pulling in 6 and 7 figures selling digital products.
I am also focusing a lot of energy toward growing on YouTube. I would really like to have the connection with my audience that I think YouTube can provide. I also think that it is great practice for public speaking and connecting with a crowd.
The basic strategy that I am using on Twitter is to create powerful, engaging content such as this:
Then I engage with other people's posts, writing very thoughtful responses, along with bio optimization to convert profile visits into followers. I am really growing quickly, considering I just started a week ago from zero and am already at around 110 followers. I'm hoping to break my first 1,000 within 5 weeks.
On YouTube my strategy is more keyword based, but it isn't growing as fast as I think that it should so I think I may mix it up and do more interest related videos where I talk about deeper, more philosophic topics. I am at I think 360 subscribers there right now, but again I am targeting 1000 right now, and it is growing a lot slower than I would like. I think I gained around 50-60 new subscribers over the past month. No small feat, but I have got to get to 1000 at least before I publish my new book. I am getting some organic engagement, and requests to go on podcasts which I think will probably speed things up a bit for me.
My Twitter mastermind group has developed a new product for creating excellent Instagram content that I am thinking of getting involved in. My IG account currently has 515 followers, but it would take a week or two to start growing there again I think since I haven't been creating there for a long time.
I have used hashtags, and haven't used hashtags. I don't use them on Twitter because I think that they are ugly, and not in alignment with my branding.
I think that when I start building on Instagram again, I probably will hold off to only 1 or 2 per post if I use any at all, for the same reason. The growth will come from my thoughtful comments on larger accounts posts.
On YouTube, I should really get better with my SEO/hashtags since I know they matter much more in terms of growth on YouTube because of the way content discovery works there.
Twitter I post 3 times per day, YouTube I post 3 times per week, Instagram will be probably 2-3 per day.
I follow quite a few people, and think that networking is key to growing on social media.
