Week 5 Part A

I have probably set up at least 10 Facebook pages in the past, and have in depth experience with targeting  Facebook advertising campaigns.  I got locked out of my last Facebook business page because I made a mistake in Facebook business manager and had to rebuild my personal brand page a month or two ago.  That's ok though, I am primarily focusing on YouTube right now anyway.  I used this as an opportunity to change my cover image and update my description as per your recommendations. I currently have around 700 followers on my Facebook Page .  This assignment actually inspired me to start posting to my page again.  I had stopped due to Facebook being so stingy with their organic reach for my posts...  They really want me to hit that boost button.  But I have just realized since I am making videos for YouTube anyway, I might as well be sharing them on Facebook too.  It isn't too much additional effort, and I have a chance of going viral.  I can also promote my YouTube channel

Week 4 Part A

Target Markets: Armstrong Garden People interested in an easy, no hassle way to plan and execute a home garden.  A lot of it is geared toward beginners. Rancho Vista Nursery Targeted toward succulent lovers. Differences between the websites: Armstrong garden is very sleek and modern, and goes for an ease of access interface.  Their funnels are set up well, and calls to action clearly defined. Rancho Vista nursery is a very dated design, and is only information based.  There is no way to conduct transactions with the company online, and they have not well executed on the advantages and opportunities that ecommerce provides. How they sell their services. Armstrong garden sells it's services online, in shop, and it looks like you can also talk to their salespeople over the phone/email. Rancho Vista advertises people come to their store location to pick out and purchase succulents.  They offer delivery on their larger succulent trees. Is there any overlap between their target markets?

Week 3 Part B Developing a Brand

About my brand. My brand is currently under development since I am seeing what the market responds to best.  I am the face of my brand.  That makes me pretty conscientious with the clothes that I wear, the way that I conduct myself, and my overall style, since I am the brand.  I wear only earth toned, usually Chinese collar tailored t-shirts in public or on camera.  Sometimes I will wear just a dark t-shirt and jeans/slacks.  I am trying to find the right balance between what I want to talk about, and what is best for the marketplace.  I am definitely in the personal development space, but am trying to find out how to best differentiate myself.  I am also very conscientious about which keywords I want to target the hardest. Taglines are something that I am experimenting with now too, because they are also very keyword sensitive, it is a big consideration with me.  I am needing organic exposure to build an audience at this point.  My color scheme is pretty much natural colors.  I haven&

Blog Week 3 Post 1

Looking through a critical lense. 1.   https://www.pennyjuice.com/ Problem 1.  The site is not adaptive.  When shrinking the screen the sides are cut off, when viewing on mobile, it is atrocious.  This is going to not only hurt their users ability to use the site, it will also crush them in google search rankings. Problem 2.  It feels very dated.  It seems like they are running a very old version of Wordpress or didn't want to invest in high-quality image assets or something. Problem 3.  The parallax scrolling on the more info and orders page seems like the page just isn't loading and I think will hurt their bounce rate by a lot.  I also saw that they put critical information about how much juice their concentrates make on their order form page, UNDER the order form...  This is probably the worst place to put critical information like that.  Also I just noticed the order form is the worst I have ever seen.  The people are expected to add up the total and submit a separate payme

Week 2 Post 1: Blog Post

Social Media Changes The Way We Communicate With Businesses  It is certainly true that social media has changed the way that we communicate with businesses, but how? I don't know if you remember, or are old enough to remember the days before social media.  The good ole' days, of wired, and "wireless" phones that were connected to hard lines and you had to be home to use.  You know, 15 years ago? In those days, the best way to communicate with a business was to call their customer service line, or show up at their physical location if there was one near you.  Those days are all but gone in most cases.  Now, we can simply log into twitter and tag the business in a post and will usually get a response. Before, things seemed very amorphous with large corporations, but now they have teams dedicated to personally interacting with their customers.  This has been great both for the consumer and the business.  The customer get's their problems handled easier and faster, an
